     With regret I was unable to attend the March Grand Council Meeting due to medical procedures I had done. I am doing much better each day and by the end of May should be back to normal and able to travel!
It is hard to believe our State Grand Convention is next month (June). I am looking forward to attending, in person. It has been a long time coming!

     Our St, Patrick;s Day celebrations with Joe Panfiglio’s special Corned Beef and Cabbage was attended by 60 people including out State President Barbara Wisniewski and out State Treasurer Joy Bruno. I had the honor of having Rick Branch and Barbara Wiesniewski initiate 22 new members. It was a great event. Rich said

Last month (April)) we met at Luna’s for a family style dinner, but this article is being written before we met. Our biggest decision was to maintain the status quo (regarding our meeting place) but change the meeting date; the meetings will now be on Wednesdays instead of Tuesdays; Isabel will call you so you can make your reservation each month.

     Shasta Lodge was happy to initiate three new members into our lodge at our April general meeting. Sharon Pember has been helping out around the lodge for a few year and has now joined as a member. Karen Smith joined us because she is proud of her Italian heritage. Don Porter joined a bocce league and wanted to join us for activities at the lodge, too. We welcome them to our lodge family.
