Being a little late is as bad as much too late.

Last month Bert Liberta presented a short history of Luna’s Restaurant with a good crowd attending at the “Let’s Talk Clovis” event which is sponsored by the Clovis-Big Dry Creek Historical Society. 

Reminder: Our meetings are now on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:00 PM at Luna’s, on Pollasky Ave. in Clovis. Isabel will verify your reservations as usual.

This year’s convention will be held in Reno, with Brian Watson representing our lodge, plus, he will have the additional duty of providing activities for the Young Lions. The activities will be pro bono, so he will need our help in paying for the planned events. Contributions should be made out to the Western Foundation with the purpose noted as “For the Young Lions”. 

Italian Slang: “Meno male” means “less bad”, but actually means “Thank goodness”.
