Ciao from Chico. 

Our Lodge had 7 New Members initiated at our February meeting. Presiding over the ceremony was State 3rd Vice president, Louie Lodi, and our participating State Deputy,Yvonne Vanoni. 

Also last month, we had a nice social event at New Clairvaux Winery, which is at Monestary outside of Chico. The Trappist Monks take care of the vineyard, and the winery’s 150+ year history is very interesting. 

This month of March, we served a large, well-attended Anniversary Dinner for a club in Chico. This is something we did last year, and only involves serving a catered Italian meal. It has proved out to be a nice fundraising event for them as well as our Lodge, as we are paid generously for our OSDIA service. 

March 15, we will have our Italian St. Pat’s Regular Lodge Meeting. At this meeting, we supply the Corned Beef for our potluck, and our wine bar is tended by our Italian Leprechaun and Treasurer, Franco O’ Dilorezo. 

Next month on April 29, we will be part of Chico Spring Jam Music Festival. At this event, we will have our 2 portable Bocce Courts and our Lodge Food Vendor booth, selling our delicious meatball sandwiches. 

Looking forward to May 18, as we plan for our 41st Anniversary Dinner Dance.
