News From Membership

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
I am honored to have been given the opportunity to help grow our membership and promote the wonderful culture we share through our Italian Roots and American Branches.
It’s been and exciting month of researching best practices and getting set up to help with ideas that will increase our membership and attract new members.
I met with our Web Master Anna Graeber, and she taught me how to create mailing lists, and postcards that go out to all people of Italian Heritage within a certain distance and invite them to a Lodge event or meeting. I tested it out for My home Lodge of Sacramento #1352 and it was a huge success. We had several people respond and even attend our dinner. They all said they were thrilled

Message From the State President

This past month has been a whirlwind of activity. Ken and I were in Chico with the Vincenzo Bellini Lodge for the Western Foundation’s Golf Outing. I declined to participate in the Frozen Meatball contest. I just figured it would be better to go out a winner than to miss and lose! As you all know, I don’t golf so it would have been a definite miss! Instead I became the Tequila girl and was driven around by President, Tony George, to visit each group of golfers. I had never ridden in a golf cart to it was a great experience. Unfortunately, Tony had never driven a golf cart so there were some precarious moments! Thanks for the fun Tony!

I have not yet received a report of how much

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

THE FOLLOWING ARE TWO VERY IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
The end of September is the deadline for you to get your information to the Royal Pageant Chairperson about a Royal Pageant contestant from your lodge. For details, please contact Pamela Ricci- Royal Pageant Chairperson.

Columbus Day/October Raffle, September 30, 2022, was the deadline for ticket stubs and money sent to the Grand Lodge of California Office. Hopefully, every effort was made to sell or purchase the tickets, as the proceeds will be for the Grand Lodge of California General Fund.

The weekend of September 16, 17, & 18, 2022, I attended the

Message From the State Third Vice President

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

First off, some people have asked me where my IL Leone article was last month. I must apologize as I spent a little too much time in that 100-degree weather and it knocked me for a loop, but I am recovered now.

Our Grand Council Meeting in Fresno was very busy. We covered a lot of issues in the day and half but the most important was the selling of The Grand Lodge. I am happy to report that the company interested in the purchasing of The Grand Lodge is extremely anxious and optimistic to work with us.

After a long meeting on Saturday, we all traveled to the Fresno Fair Grounds where we attended the Columbo-Stella Lodge’s 100th Anniversary Celebration. Olivia Deliddo and company wooed everyone with their hospitality and raffle. What was so impressive was all the past scholarship recipients
