Words to live by: John Lennon once said “.count your age by your friends, not years; count your life by smiles, not tears.”

The feds are considering stopping the free COVID shots, which they pay almost $600 per shot, so get your shots now while they are still free; while you are out there, get your flu shot too.

Last month (December) we lost our long time member and friend, Charlie Caparelli. He joined the lodge in the early 50’s just to keep company with his monther, Mary, but stayed with us after she passed away. He ran his own auto-body shop for many years and was widely known in Clovis.

We held our meeting at Luna’s with good food and friends. A few topics were discussed, but nothing was voted on.

Future month’s meetings will be at Luna’s at 6:30 PM, on the first Wednesday, Come and join the meal and conversation. Our lodges are seeing many changes; join us and express your ideas.

Also, the University of California in Fresno offers students Italian-oriented scholarships … call them for details.

Say it in Italian: Tutto Fumo e Niente Arrosto – “All Bark and No Bite.
