Hanford Lodge #1543 Celebrates 95 Years of Service with Joyful Anniversary Event

Hanford Lodge #1543 proudly celebrated its 95th Anniversary with a delightful event held at the Kings Country Club in Hanford, California, on September 14. The occasion was marked with a heartfelt ceremony honoring members who have reached significant milestones of 25, 35, and 50 years of service.

The day’s theme, “Salute, Fratelli!” set a celebratory tone as the Lodge recognized the dedication and commitment of its members. State Deputy Central Tina Sparlin, filling in for Grand Lodge President Arlene Nunziati, officiated the ceremony. She was supported by State

First Vice President Mark Vaona and State Third Vice President Alan Spano.  The event also saw the presence of several distinguished State officers, including Genny Arietta, State Treasurer; Pamela Buldo, State Head Trustee South, Pauline Richmond, Grand Lodge Fundraising Chair, Western Foundation Trustee, and President of the United Lodges of the San Joaquin Valley; John Costa, Past State President (2017-2019); and Lynn Lawrence

Murphy, Past State President (2013-2017), along with her husband Bill. Notable Past Queens such as Gina Giacomazzi Hageboeck (1983) and Jessica Christin Aguirre (2001) were also in attendance, as well as Pamela Buldo, the State Queen of 1983.

Looking ahead, Hanford Lodge invites the community to join their October meeting featuring a potluck with Italian dishes to celebrate Italian-American Month. This event will take place Tuesday, October 8th at 6 PM located at the Kings County Historical Society meeting hall, a new venue for the Lodge’s meetings.

Additionally, on October 27, the Lodge will host a Drive Through Spaghetti and Meatball Dinner and Sauce Sale at the Hanford Fraternal Hall from 12 noon until 3 PM. Tickets for the dinner are available upon request.
