It has been another very busy month and I have just arrived home from our Council meeting which went very well. A lot of important business was conducted. A few of the State Officers who were interested visited the building that we are in the process of buying. They were very impressed and were very happy with the decision. It was passed to officially close the Santa Rosa lodge which has been in limbo for the past year. None of the members

In 1492 Columbus sailed the Ocean Blue and on September 15th and 16th, Londi and I sailed up I-5 to Redding California for their Paesano Day’s Celebration which has spanned 30+ years. What a fun trip! I was invited by Tony George, President of Chico’s Vincenzo Bellini Lodge #2519, to be a part of their Bellini Bocce Team. We played hard but the pollino wasn’t rolling very good for us. There were 32 teams that entered. The Tournament
Another month is here, September 10th I attended the United lodges of the San Joaquin Valley, September meeting, sponsored by the Visalia’s Enrico Caruso lodge. Discussed the 2023 convention, the upcoming Grand Council meeting, and the purchase of a new home building for the Grand Lodge, in Orangevale CA, that is in the process of inspections, as part of the escrow process.

October’s polenta and chicken Pinochi and Stagnoli scholarships fundraising dinner will be held on October 15th from 4:00 to 6:00PM at the Elks Lodge on Herrick Avenue. Thank you to all who worked so hard to sell tickets.
The Italian festival at the Redwood Ballfields had overcast skies but no rain. Hooray!
Seven teams participated in the bocce
All hands were on deck clapping thunderously for our four new members, who were initiated on July 20th at the Roseville Lodge 1413. Dan Marinelli, the President of Sacramento Lodge 1352, did the installation for Roseville that day as he was the State Deputy for Roseville when the installation occurred.. Roma Lodge held its Junior Member Night at the August meeting. The lodge has about 65 junior members and over 25 attended the meeting. They conducted the opening and closing ceremonies and enjoyed
