This month has been exceptionally difficult for me as your President. The First Gent has been undergoing treatments for his illness. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. We need them more than ever.

The weekend of March 17, 18, 2023, our Grand Council meetings will be held at the Centinela Valley Lodge Hall, Torrance CA.. I encourage all members in the area or traveling south to take the opportunity to attend the open meeting on Saturday, March 18, 2023. It will be a suitable time to see/hear the reports and workings of your state officers since their grand council meeting in September 2022. February was a busy month. I attended events at the Redding, Chico, and Weed Lodges. The meals were Crab-solutely amazing! On February 10th, I traveled to Redding for their famous Crab Feast. There were 400 people in attendance. The raffle prizes were unbelievable, and the night was fun! The Lodge pulled out all the stops and returned the next night to host 400 more people for a second night of crab. On February 16th I installed the new officers at the Vincenzo Bellini Lodge in Chico. It was a great meeting with all the members. The President, Tony George is doing a great job in Chico. Cindy Bellini Williams, an actress and producer, who played sweet wide-eyed Shirley Feeney on “Laverne & Shirley, died on January 25.

Roma Lodge is located in Tulare, California, center of the breadbasket of the world in the San Joaquin Valley. For the past 56 years the lodge has their Italian sausage food booth at the show.
