The Joanne Coccia Lodge #2553 was happy to have our State Grand Lodge President, Barbara Wisniewski, spend several days with us on May 14, 2022 and May 15, 2022. She was such a gracious lady and State Grand President the entire time she spent with us.
On May 14th, we treated her to a wonderful Italian dinner at a new Italian Restaurant known as Mazzulli’s Italian Kitchen. There
Shasta Lodge held our 42nd anniversary party in April. We celebrated with our Most Honored Members from 2019 Leonard Duz, 2020 Steve Delben and 2021 Gerry Carroll. They each received a plaque and a gift certificate for a dinner at Outback Steakhouse. We also read the names of the 25 year member Jim Nobili, Rose Nobili, Mauna Stockton, Jim Tomasin and Jim Tumino.

We always welcome visitors to our Lodge, from Lodges all over the country. It’s an honor to have them visit, and when you receive a thank you, as wonderful as the following one, it brings home the message of just how fortunate we are here at our Lodge! Our entertainment is spectacular, as the thank you says! This has been a busy time for all of us on your Council. We are preparing for Convention. Our first “in person” Convention since 2019 and I’m so excited to see you again! Our Convention Chairperson, Lynn Lawrence Murphy and our two sponsor Lodges, Renaissance, and Anaheim, are planning some interesting and fun things. I can’t wait for the Theme Night, “Take me out to the ballgame”.
