Our March meeting had a great member attendance. We had further discussions on a new day, time and location. The members voted for the first Thursday of the month. Our April meeting will be held on Thursday, April 6th with cocktails from 4:30pm - 5:30pm, meeting at 5:30pm followed by dinner at 6:00pm. Our Lodge has seen a series of changes in the first months of 2023! Among these charges were a new day, time and location for our monthly meetings. I was asked to submit monthly article to the IL Leone and if any Sisters or Brothers have any news to share, please contact me. I definitely have big shoes to fill following Ernie Giono’s tenure as President for the past 3 years. A thank you gift was presented to Ernie for his dedication and support. Ernie organized our annual crab feeds which raised funds enabling us to present scholarships to deserving students and send donations to several charities.

Eureka Lodge member Ryan Bisio, head coach of the College of the Redwoods basketball team, has been voted state coach of the year for Northern California by the California Community College Men’s Basketball Coaches Association. Bisio calls his coaching style eclectic and for the third season in a row Bisio guided the team to the junior college playoffs.

Eureka Lodge member Ryan Bisio, head coach of the College of the Redwoods men’s basketball team, led his student athletes to their third straight Golden Valley Conference championship on February 17th. This is the third season in a row that Bisio guided the team to the junior college playoffs.
Eureka Lodge will award the Irene and Paul Pinochi and Frank Stagnoli Scholarships this spring.

Hello from Redding:
We just held our annual two night Crab Feed. We were late getting tickets ready to sell this year because of the delays of opening to the commercial crab season, but were sold out in seven days after tickets were finally available.
The clam chowder is always a crowd pleaser and the crab was fresh and plentiful. The raffle baskets were beautiful and our bar was very busy, leading us to a very successful event. Thank you to our great chairmen Paul Monette and
