October’s polenta and chicken Pinochi and Stagnoli scholarships fundraising dinner will be held on October 15th from 4:00 to 6:00PM at the Elks Lodge on Herrick Avenue. Thank you to all who worked so hard to sell tickets.

The Italian festival at the Redwood Ballfields had overcast skies but no rain. Hooray! 

Seven teams participated in the bocce tournament. Team Let’s Roll, led by Grant Weaver and his wife Tara of McKinleyville, won the championship prizes that were graciously provided by Betty Senestraro. Thank you to Dave and Donna Olivieri and all the others who helped set up (and takedown) the festival food concessions and tents.

The raffle did very well. Thank you again to Betty Senestraro for gathering all of the many, many raffle prizes.
