Message From the State President

 I want to thank you for all the cooperation I have received in working with the Financial Secretaries of the Lodges to get all the financials in order. I appreciate the extra work you have done in looking back for checks and information. I wanted to be sure all was updated before I turn the Grand Lodge over to our new President.

Please find, in this issue of the IL Leone, the information on the two candidates for Grand Lodge President. I asked them to also send our Lodge Presidents the information on their qualifications to make a good Grand Lodge President. I know you will read and make an informed decision when you, the Lodge Presidents and the elected Delegates, vote at Convention.

Ken and I will be traveling to Huntsman University Hospital in Salt Lake City Utah shortly for his treatment. I ask you for prayers and positive energy for his recovery.

This is my last article as your Grand Lodge President. I have loved visiting your Lodges and sharing in your celebrations. You have given me the knowledge that our Order is strong and will continue to grow because we care about our heritage, culture, and each other.

I pledge to support our new President and to continue to work for you on our Grand Council as Immediate Past President.

Thank you for all the support you have given me these past two years.
