Felice anno nuovo!
We had a fun and successful 2022. Great attendance at all our monthly dinner meetings and a sold out crowd for our big fundraiser. We have initiated several new members and have a new President this coming year. We are still looking for a new financial secretary to fill Madeleine Zunino’s position as she has been doing it for many, many years. We gave away scholarships to some wonderful young adults and gave to our chosen charities.

At the end of June, Dawn Romero, Hugh and Pamela Ricci, and Ken and Barbara Wisniewski attended the Grand Lodge Convention in Anaheim. President, Barbara, did a great job and all of us at our Lodge are proud she is our State President.

In August we had our annual picnic at Idlewild Park. We had a great turn out, the weather was perfect,

The October polenta and chicken Pinochi and Stagnoli scholarship fundraising drive thru dinner was held on October 16th. Thank you to all who worked so hard to sell tickets, gather the ingredients, prepare the meal, and serve at the drive thru. Two hundred and twenty-four dinners were served. No meeting in November. MARTHA CERVONE
1936 - 2022

With great sadness our lodge has had to say farewell to another sister. Martha was a member of our lodge for 54 years. Martha was a dedicated homemaker, devoted to her family, with a love of books and crossword puzzles. She readily helped with lodge dinner dances and meetings
through the years and always had open arms for visitors at home. Martha will be missed by so many within our community and our lodge. Until we meet again sister Martha.

Hello from Redding:

This past weekend was a big one for our lodge. Paesano Days was held Friday, September 16th and Saturday, September 17th. Friday night was the start of our bocce tournament, and our Spaghetti Dinner. We served about 900 people. The weather was perfect and our new layout at the park worked out great. By noon Saturday we had sold out of cannoli, and shortly thereafter we were out of raffle tickets.
