Eureka Lodge #1274

Eureka Lodge’s 99th anniversary dinner held in the Hospice of Humboldt’s community meeting room was well attended. CC Market Catering did an excellent and delicious job as usual.

Hospice of Humboldt CEO Dianne Keating and Director of Community Development Tia Baratelle made an informative presentation on the work that hospice performs in the community. They followed that with an in depth tour of the hospice facilities.

Generously over $400 was donated by our lodge and our members to further Hospice’s good work in Humboldt County.

Gina Luzzi and Michele Weston put together two large poster boards covered front and back with dozens of photographs of Eureka Lodge activities and members from our past 99 years of existence.

We are on track once again to sponsor Italian heritage night at a Humboldt Crabs baseball game this summer. Game date is June 30th at 7PM.

Our next meeting is our Pinochi/Stagnoli Scholarship potluck on May 23rd starting with social hour at 4:30PM. The lodge will honor our scholarship winners and their families.
