I was able to attend the Clovis meeting at the end of August. Had a great meal at Luna Pizzeria and met a few members of the lodge. Unfortunately after dinner I was outside with our Youth Committee Chair Brian Watson having a few goodbye words with him and his kids. Avery was running and tripped headfirst into a brick pillar outside the restaurant and wound up getting 3 stitches. But she is a tough kid and still went to school
Summer is coming to an end and I hope everyone is doing well. I was able to attend the Roma Lodge business meeting this month. It was quite entertaining as the youth run this meeting and did a phenomenal job of it. Had a great meal and root beer floats. They then gifted all the junior members with a bag full of back-to-school supplies. Brian Watson our Youth Chairperson drove down from Fresno to join me for the meeting and lend me his son Tyler Watson for the week. I had great time with Tyler as he went with me to
Well it’s the start of another year I hope everyone had a great holiday and got everything they wished for. Grand council is getting ready for our March meeting at our new building. It would be great to see many of you there to see it. I was fortunate enough to be able to continue my parents tradition of cooking Christmas party for the Residents, there families
Sorry I haven’t been able to post a message for the last few months. I am in the final stages of a project I have been working on for 20 years.
I played in the Southern California Golf Tournament in Palm Springs on Monday the 13 of November. We managed to finish one under par. It was
It has been an incredibly busy two months since convention. The members asked the Grand Lodge to pursue joining the IMembersdb at convention and I am happy to say we have done that. Thanks to a lot of hard work by Anna Graeber and me beating up the rep a little bit we are online. Not all the lodges are yet up as there is some database massaging that has to be done to import the rest but they are hard at work doing that. We have arranged for 3 contact points for help with the software as well as the Zoom training that IMembersdb is providing. Contact points are Anna Graeber
Another convention has come and gone. I want to thank everyone for voting me First State Vice President. Welcome to our returning State Officers and all of the new board members also.
We were presented with a new software package that National is using called Imembersdb. National has negotiated a deal for the State and Local lodges to be able to adopt this software at no cost to us. The only costs are if we upgrade to take some additional packages that we have currently decided not to do at the State Level. I have begun working with the Imembersdb team and by the time you read this the rollout should be close to being available. For those of you who saw the presentation and also wanted to use it for the Local Lodges it should be available very soon. If you have any question please feel free to contact me.
It was quite a treat to see
