The Sons and Daughters of Italy, Cesare Battisti ‘N. 1518, hosted our annual Christmas dinner December 14th, bringing together more than 300 friends and family members for an unforgettable evening. The event featured festive music, delicious homemade food, exciting raffle, and even a special visit from Santa Claus himself.

July is our no-meeting month but many of us attended an Aces baseball game in Reno organized by Donna and Suraj Zutshi.  It was a big success, a beautiful day, and we all had a wonderful time. Thank you again to Bill Chino for hosting the Eureka Lodge Christmas party at the Jacoby Storehouse.  Everyone had a good time and the food was delicious.

     The January dinner meeting is scheduled for Tuesday January 28th.  It will not be a potluck.  Members and guests will be treated to a lovely pasta dinner free

Congratulations to Napa’s junior member, Austin Graeber, and fellow United States Coast Guard recruit, Amy Crowther. Austin and Amy were recently sworn in and are heading to boot camp in Cape May, New Jersey, where they are set to graduate as full-fledged Coasties on December 13th.

Amy hails from Texas, and her husband, Lieutenant Commander Chris Crowther (Retired), is a friend of Austin’s aunt, Master Chief Erica Graeber.
