Milestone Membership
Roma Lodge will celebrate its 93rd Anniversary at the May 1st meeting. A few years ago, the lodge decided to recognize members who are celebrating milestone membership anniversaries every 5-years. Over 25 members will receive their certificates at the meeting.

March 2023 was filled with excitement and celebration for Napa Lodge #2043. The launch of an online RSVP platform received high praise from State First Vice President Pauline Terrusa Richmond, who sent a gracious shout-out through her statewide email listserv on March 15. Members praised the new system, which utilized free services from MailChimp and Google forms.
On March 27, the lodge held an impressive monthly dinner meeting with 63 participants, including 20 guests: two from St. Helena
Our April meeting was attended by several old (not age!) And new members! Our new members are: Linda and Larry Biondini and Bob Barelle. Jim Gambonini was elected as a new trustee. President John Albini) announced that our next meeting will be held on Thursday, May 18th with cocktails from 4:30pm - 5:30pm, followed by dinner at 5:30pm. The meeting will be held following dinner. We will be meeting at our new location at Herman Sons Hall, 860 Western Avenue, Petaluma. Please call Diane Gizzi at 707-588-1942 prior to Sunday, May 14th to make your reservations. Spring is trying to push through in Siskiyou County. Daffodils bloom amid snow showers, highs are in the 50’s and 60’s with lows in the 20’s and 30’s, and studded tire use will soon end! We’re looking forward to some warmer weather. We have happily been busy the last few months. Our Crab Feed was well attended for the first sit-down dinner of the year. GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY
It was a beautiful, crisp Saturday morning, perfect for being outside and giving back to the community. On March 25, 2023 the American Heart Association held their annual Inland Empire Heart & Stroke Walk. This signature fund raising event had an attendance of 950 plus participants raising over $180,000. Members of the Order of Sons & Daughters of Italy, Joanne Coccia Lodge #2553, gathered to support this worthwhile event held in Riverside, California.
