Dear Brothers and Sisters,
We are now approaching OSDIA’s 118th year! WOW! How proud we are of the accomplishments and success of so many wonderful years of being one of the oldest fraternal organizations. We could not have moved forward without the tireless work of volunteers’ members, state, and national officers as we move into 2023. Over the last several months, we’ve been navigating the “new normal” as our world and lodges begin to slowly re-open and re-gather. During this transitional period, we’ve remained dedicated to the Order, preserving our Italian Heritage, Italian Culture & Language.
Technology is both an opportunity and
Dear Brothers and Sisters.
There are many members that have asked “What does the State and National Lodges do for us?” I would like remined all the Lodge Presidents, State Officers & Past State President, State Committee Chairpersons, to share the information that I pass on from the State and National office to all our members.
When we take the time to read, participate and click on to the various links included in my articles; the information keeps all members up to date with information on what is being accomplished by our State and National Officers and Office staff that keep OSDIA moving forward with the times!

Dear Brothers and Sisters….
Have you ever thought about our organization and its members? Are we truly following the path and guidelines of OSDIA? When I think of our organization, I think of members who were/are remarkable members of a family. Have you truly realized what a marvelous organization you belong to? How much you have learned of your Italian Heritage? What friends do you have who are now like family? I have in fact, have friends/members that are so proud

I hope you have been enjoying your summer and having fun in the sun!
Being an officer on the Grand Council for the Grand Lodge of California has its share of new challenges and duties as the First Vice President. This experience has blessed me with new knowledge, understanding, and love for our Order!
The Grand Council has so many different logistics to balance as we work to move forward in the future of the Grand Lodge of California.
I Thank the Lord, for all the blessings that I have received in forty-five plus years as a member of OSDIA and being connected to my Roots!
One of my duties as First Vice President is writing a Leadership article each month for the IL Leone. This article has helped me in so many ways, and to remember, a leader, listener, respect members, cheerful outlook, open mind. I enjoy sharing my ideas and research on leadership. I have to say my first thought when given this duty was what am I going to write each month!! I would like to think that my article is reaching out to members. At our Grand Council meeting in June 2022, I asked, to have the October Columbus Day Calendar Raffle once again with a winner
