When Anna Lucido was just a little girl, Nana Mary Lucido brought her into the Order Sons of Italy along with her ghree other sisters. It is Anna’s service to c Colombo Lodge her outstanding grade point average and her involvement in school and local community service projects that earned her a financial award from the Lodge’s Schoarship Committee.
When Anna attended Freedom High School she was active in Math Club, CaliforniaScholarship Federaton and the National Honors Society. As a member of the InteractClub, Anna participated in a variey of community widecharitable events among raising funds to fight the last vestige of polio, a cripplin disease. We wanted to let everyone know we are still here and as active as possible during these crazy times.
It is with sadness in our lodges heart that we lost two founding members of our lodge and one member in this past few months.

We had put together a picnic at Merlo Park in Sterling City with over 20 members all with face masks playing Bocce and socializing. Got together at Italian cottage in Chico for a lunch last month
HOPE.... When all else fails....there is still HOPE... Let us not grow weary.... God is still in control....these days of COVID 19 will end... those of you that have been through worse things...wars, world wide influenza outbreaks etc...know...that this too will pass. So don’t lose HOPE...Reach out to a friend.

Despite having to cancel all of our events since our February meeting Eureka Lodge #1274 is alive and well!
On October 25th our Lodge held a drive through polenta and chicken dinner in the Elks Lodge parking lot. Although limited to 150 takeouts the event was a sold out success.
Due to covid restrictions the kitchen and drive up crew was limited to a hardworking few: Dave and Donna Olivieri, Ralph and Nancy Giannini,Nick Giannini, Erling Dellabama, Eddie Fornari- Morgan, John Salizzoni, Julie Stagnoli, Rosemary Fitzpatrick, Alisa Luzzi, Bonnie DuMond, and Pam Newby.
