Roma Lodge is celebrating their 95th anniversary this year and our membership is composed of some of the most outstanding leaders in Tulare County.  We have had several members who have been honored as the Man of the Year, Woman of the Year, Farmer of the Year, Hall of Famers and other distinguished awards given by community organizations in the San Joaquin Valley.

This year is no different when our own Nancy Pitigliano was honored as the Woman of the Year by Senator Shannon Grove of the 12th District representing Tulare, Fresno and Kern Counties.  Nancy

Solano County is in full bloom. Almond trees are covered in glorious flowers, and bee hives are buzzing. This is my favorite time of the year.

Our lodge has been busy as usual. The Lunch Bunch enjoyed a delicious Chinese meal at the Dynasty Restaurant in Fairfield. This month we will head to Burger City for their delicious burgers or salads. An activity we have been looking forward to was revived this month. Brenda and Frank Mossa

March is the time to honor St. Joseph, the patron of the universal Church and spouse of Mary, the Holy Mother of Jesus. St Joseph is the guardian of fathers and the family. His feast day, March 19, is marked as Father’s Day in Italy. It was the focus at a recent meeting of C. Colombo Lodge. A St. Joseph’s altar was designed by Lodge President Roseanne DiMaggio

Happy Spring from Shasta Lodge!

Boy is it nice to see the sun shining again, not to mention that extra hour of daylight we all crave.  So many fun things to look forward to this season.

Before we dive in, I need to inform you all that we have moved our anniversary dinner from March 22 to May 3 so our lodge

All members were “Irish” for our March meeting as we were treated by our Financial Secretary, Vaughan Bassegio, who created a wonderful dinner of corned beef, cabbage with all the trimmings. Members added salads and desserts to complete a very tasty dinner for all to enjoy. The hall was decorated with the St. Patrick’s Day theme by the chairs
