I am in the midst of getting ready for our lodge’s shrimp feed and working along with Arlene and Lori at our new building. Stay tuned I’ll have plenty to report next month. In the meantime, have a safe, healthy and Happy Thanksgiving.

On September 30th, The Enrico Caruso lodge 1463 of Visalia held its 96 anniversary celebration dinner, at the Hyde in Visalia. We honored our 25, 40 & 50+ year members!

The Roma Lodge # 1573, celebrated Columbus Day on October 8th at Mooney Grove Park. New bocce champs were crowned, between the Roma and Hanford lodges, and everyone enjoyed the improvements being made to the park. I couldn’t attend, because October 8th is my oldest grandsons 14th

It has been another very busy month and I have just arrived home from our Council meeting which went very well. A lot of important business was conducted. A few of the State Officers who were interested visited the building that we are in the process of buying. They were very impressed and were very happy with the decision. It was passed to officially close the Santa Rosa lodge which has been in limbo for the past year. None of the members

In 1492 Columbus sailed the Ocean Blue and on September 15th and 16th, Londi and I sailed up I-5 to Redding California for their Paesano Day’s Celebration which has spanned 30+ years. What a fun trip! I was invited by Tony George, President of Chico’s Vincenzo Bellini Lodge #2519, to be a part of their Bellini Bocce Team. We played hard but the pollino wasn’t rolling very good for us. There were 32 teams that entered. The Tournament
