Our last meeting went off smoothly. Our new president John Albini, is getting more relaxed each time we have a meeting. The microphone is now his friend. John gave time for members to speak with their ideas and concerns and it was all good.
We are looking for a new treasurer and in due time, we will find one. All other positions are filed with
Our April Dinner Dance was our Queens Coronation. We had the pleasure to crown our new queen Jaden Gonzales, she is a beautiful queen and what was also so enjoyable we had 8 past queens - Louise Pampuro, Lori Scalabrini Blackwell, Francesca Grimes Dennis, Mary Grace Teramo Grammatico, Lisa Vaona-Case, Gilma Vaona, Britany Garnica, Nicole Vaona and our outgoing queen Marissa Lavezzari were present at our wonderful coronation. Jaden's aunt Linda Enneman was in attendance with a few of her family members. Each of our queens had their families also in attendance. Thank you to Anaheim Lodge

William "Bill" Arcangelo Bacigalupi, a cherished member of the Order Son's and Daughter's of Italy in America, Napa Lodge #2043 since Oct 1, 1974, peacefully passed away in his sleep on June 21, 2023, following a recent cancer diagnosis. A respected businessman in the waste industry for 65 years, Bill was a devoted husband, beloved stepfather, grandfather, great-grandfather, and treasured friend. Born in Napa in 1938, he served in the US Navy before joining his grandfather's business, Napa Garbage Service. Bill's leadership

Italian American heritage night at the Humboldt Crabs baseball game on June 30th resulted in an exciting Crabs come from behind victory over the NorCal Warriors and a lot of fun for Sons and Daughters of Italy members in attendance.
Lora and Joel Canzoneri did an excellent job directing our crew of volunteers to decorate the stadium.
