On Saturday, March 2, the Cornelia-Vita Nuova Lodge of San Francisco held its annual Polenta and Sausage Dinner at the San Francisco Italian Athletic Club in North Beach.  Past Lodge and State President Maria Fassio Pignati welcomed close to 240 guests, and introduced Lodge President Jennifer De Palma Chandler who spoke and introduced our dignitaries. The celebration of Eureka Lodge’s 100th anniversary will continue throughout this year with historical displays, lectures and interviews at various museums and on public access television recalling the Italian-American experience in Humboldt County.
