Mervin Lernhart
1936 - 2024

Mervin was a valued member of our Napa Lodge for over 55 years. He regularly attended our dinner dances and had a personality that was larger than life. His accomplishments within the Napa legal field and the Napa community are unparalleled. He was fondly known as ‘The Legend’

In his personal life, Mervin was an avid fisherman, hiker, and chef. He enjoyed backpacking, waterskiing, and reading from his extensive home library, which contained over 2,000 books. A Napa native, Mervin’s ancestors settled in Napa in the 1850s.

Mervin is survived by his wife, Barbara, five children, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Mervin will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Until we meet again
