Pictured above is a partial group of Roma Lodge members who organized and conducted our Italian food booth at the World Ag Expo in Tulare, February 11-13th. The World Ag Expo was started at the Tulare Fair Grounds in 1968 and moved to the International Agri-Center in 1982 and has grown to 2.6 million square feet of exhibit space. Roma Lodge is one of the only organizations that has been at the show from the very beginning.

I believe we really started out recognizing people that went to extraordinary lengths to help their fellow man, after the events of 9/11. We stood up as a nation, and cheered, and celebrated the firemen and police of New York. And we couldn’t thank them enough for their service, that was beyond exceptional, that day, and subsequent days. And they truly deserved it!
Then came Covid and we as a nation celebrated the doctors, nurses and all those that rose up, despite the perils of dealing

Greetings from Vallejo. We had our first polenta and stew dinner in quite a while and it was a success. We had 96 guests including State Second Vice President Louie Lodi and his wife who traveled all the way from Sacramento. Our kitchen crew of Rick Branch, John Costa and Glen Rushing made a very tasty dinner. We plan on having dinners roughly every two months. We celebrated the many birthdays we missed during Covid for
Columbia Lodge is now alternating their meetings at two different restaurant locations. Great menus and food at both places and everyone is loving the change. We just have to remember where we are going each month!

Hanford Lodge #1543 held its monthly meeting on February 11, 2025, at the Kings County Historical Society’s Social Hall. On the agenda was the presentation of a $1000.00 donation to CASA of Kings County. Rick Vickers, a volunteer, gave a brief presentation explaining how the organization works.
