Our Lodge is situated in the shadow of beautiful Mount Shasta in Weed, California, 60, miles from the Oregon border. Our lodge building / catering hall was built in 1924, by the founding members who came to Weed to work in the lumber industry. We are doing our best to get back on our feet from the Covid pandemic. We have continued to have our monthly meetings in our lodge building and have had several fund raisers. We had a take – out chicken and polenta dinner in October and a crab dinner that was also take – out, in February. We will be catering a chicken and ravioli dinner in March for the Weed Museum which will also help with our finances. We are very fortunate to live in a community that supports all of our activities. July will see us making our spaghetti and meatball dinners to sell at the Weed Carnevale. The Carnevale has been taking place in Weed since 1954, and is always well attended. Our president, Richard Negro has been busy supervising maintenance and repairs that are necessary for our building. We are hoping that some day we will be able to return to the days when we were able to have wonderful dinner dances. Saluti
