Marshall Hank called together his gang of Saddleback wranglers and their missus for a real western Hoedown. It was a great success with 50 posse members and guests attending at the Mission Viejo Murray Center and Grange Hall. The event was organized by “Quickdraw” Al and Bernie Schlappy. The vittles were supplied by “hot trigger” Tim and Kerry Herington (pork dinner), Jo Ann Copp and Terri Marraccino (salads), and Marylin Vecchio (desserts). Bernie also supplied fried chicken! Pat Dito and Jeannette Eber made sure the campfire was lively by supplying the baked beans. Miss Michelle kept us all going down the right trail. The Grange Hall was fancied up by Bernie Schlappy, Michelle Lowinger and Kerry Herington. Music and photos by “Dead eye” Dito. Most members even wore their favorite country and western duds. Everybody helped to make the event a great success! After the grub, we all sat around the campfire and played Texas Hold’em poker.
