We hope everyone had a very joyous Easter season. The weather was beautiful – a few sprinkles but not enough to dampen anyone’s spirits. We truly have much to be thankful for.

On March 14th, 13 of our lodge brothers and sisters were Irish for an evening as we hosted the Fairfield Recreation Center with a Luck O’ the Irish dinner complete with corned beef and cabbage with all the fixings, including green lemonade. Even the music had an Irish lilt to it. A fun evening was had by all.

Scholarship season is upon us again. Applications have been received and interviews are being scheduled. There are so many worthy students hopeful to be recipients. To continue funding our scholarship program for the 2024 – 2025 school year, we are spearheading a Winner Everyday fundraiser for the month of May. A $10 ticket can give you 31 chances to win.

April’s monthly meeting will focus on baseball. To get in the mood, members are encouraged to wear their favorite team’s jersey and hat. Of course, we will have a seventh inning stretch with “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” played by Riccardo Marracino. What a great way to celebrate America’s favorite sport!

May is a special month as well for mothers. We wish all mothers a wonderful “Festa Della Mamma” on May 12th. Happy Mother’s Day!
