William Arcangelo Bacigalupi

William "Bill" Arcangelo Bacigalupi, a cherished member of the Order Son's and Daughter's of Italy in America, Napa Lodge #2043 since Oct 1, 1974, peacefully passed away in his sleep on June 21, 2023, following a recent cancer diagnosis. A respected businessman in the waste industry for 65 years, Bill was a devoted husband, beloved stepfather, grandfather, great-grandfather, and treasured friend. Born in Napa in 1938, he served in the US Navy before joining his grandfather's business, Napa Garbage Service. Bill's leadership and sharp business acumen were evident as he served as President of the California Refuse Resource Council. He lived a full life as an accomplished traveler, hunter, fisherman, and collector of cars and antique clocks. Bill will be remembered for his generous heart, wise soul, and his ability to captivate listeners with his captivating stories. A celebration of his life was held on July 11, 2023, at the Napa Valley Country Club with a request for memorial donations to be made to the Queen of the Valley Foundation (a leading health-care provider in the greater Napa Valley community) in his honor.
