Eureka Lodge #1274

Eureka Lodge’s 100th anniversary dinner celebration is scheduled for March 23rd at the City of Eureka’s Wharfinger Building overlooking Humboldt Bay and the city marina. The festivities will begin at 5PM and a catered dinner at 5:30PM.

Our Grand Lodge President and Vice-President will be in attendance as well as many local dignitaries. This celebration is a once in a century occurrence so you will not want to miss out on it.

The celebration will continue throughout this year with historical displays, lectures and interviews at various museums and on public access television recalling the Italian-American experience and heritage in Humboldt County.

Speaking of heritage, Eureka Lodge will award the Irene and Paul Pinochi and Frank Stagnoli Scholarships this spring. Please remind your grandchildren or friends with children of Italian descent that application materials are available now from their high school counselors or by calling Gene Perricelli at 707-443-0493 to have an application sent directly to them.

Do not forget to get on your computer to watch the Carnevale di Venezia celebrations in Italia on February 13th. Next meeting is on February 27th. Meeting begins at 6PM.
