Cesare Battisti Lodge #1518

This is Ernie Giono, past president of Cesare Battisti Lodge, sitting for Diane this month as she is very busy with family events. We always say 'family comes first'...

Our last meeting went off smoothly. Our new president John Albini, is getting more relaxed each time we have a meeting. The microphone is now his friend. John gave time for members to speak with their ideas and concerns and it was all good.

We are looking for a new treasurer and in due time, we will find one. All other positions are filed with great people.

The convention is coming up soon and Diane will report on it next month.

Out dinner was roasted chicken, macaroni salad which was delicious and made by our chef Ed. Buttered corn and delicious garlic bread. Desserts were ampel but not low cal, of course.

At our new location, we are able to serve wine along with the usual sodas and bottled water.

Rick Branch our State Deputy gave a talk as he usually does. John has more ideas which should get us some new members.

We are always looking for people to step up and help with the set up, clean up and of course, bring desserts. Jim and Karen Racccanello always are there to help and it is very much appreciated by all of us.

We have plans for the next few meetings. John is working on that.

Diane will be back so starting soon, you can make reservations for the July 20 meeting by calling her at 707-588-1948. Please write this number down in a safe place so you will have it always. Reservations are necessary so our chef can get the right amount of food for us.
