Our Lodge has seen a series of changes in the first months of 2023! Among these charges were a new day, time and location for our monthly meetings. I was asked to submit monthly article to the IL Leone and if any Sisters or Brothers have any news to share, please contact me. I definitely have big shoes to fill following Ernie Giono’s tenure as President for the past 3 years. A thank you gift was presented to Ernie for his dedication and support. Ernie organized our annual crab feeds which raised funds enabling us to present scholarships to deserving students and send donations to several charities.

On December 4, 2022, we lost a beloved 40-year member - Frederick Schram. Fred was a proud Veteran, serving in the US Army in Korea. Upon moving his family to Petaluma in 1969, he held positions with multiple organizations including the Petaluma Chamber of Commerce, Old Adobe Association, Heritage Homes of Petaluma, the VFW, Native Sons of the Golden West and the Lion’s Club. A Celebration of Life was held in January at the Petaluma Veterans Memorial Auditorium and was attended by several of our Lodge officers and members. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
