It's September and starting to get busy again. I was privileged to go to Enrico Caruso lodges 95th Anniversary and represent our President. I was thrilled to be able to do this as one of my earliest lodge visits for anything when I was a young man (many moons ago) was to Visalia. My wife was one of our 5 Grand Lodge queens and was invited to ride in the parade in Visalia. I have been there many times since and have always been treated like family.
While we were in Fresno for Grand Council, I was able to attend their 100th Anniversary. It was held at the Fresno Fairgrounds

The OSDIA Convention in June was a success, and everyone had a wonderful time! Congratulations to Barbara Wisniewski, Lynn Lawrence Murphy, Lori Rossi, and Ervin Siax for all their hard work and dedication in making this event a success! Angelo was born on July 21st, 1922, in Yonkers, New York to
To My Sisters & Brothers of OSDIA Good morning! I got up early at 4:00 AM to start this April article because I am ecstatic about our Grand Council Meeting held in March. For all of those “Soothsayers” who say the Grand Council does not do much but spend the membership’s money, I learned firsthand that is a misconception. Trust me we spent over 13 hours going over books and trying to think of ways we could assist all the Lodges in California to
Dear Members, A look back, during the pandemic: It has been an unusual year and a half. The COVID-19 pandemic has reflected on how OSDIA and our members remain resilient and continue finding ways to serve our lodges.
Years from now members will look back on these issues and see how our world is constantly changing and how new things became part of our everyday lives, such as face masks and virtual meetings.
How many of you participated in a videoconference such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams before 2020? How many unfamiliar products are now considered commonplace as we use them to connect with others.
These platforms allow us to continue to connect, even if it is through a screen. The pandemic pushed us to use technology that has been around for a few years and get creative on how we reach members and serve our Lodges.
