Anaheim Lodge #2076 is very sad to announce the passing of Joseph Leonard D’Ordine, on Thursday August 22, 2024. Joe was a member of the Lodge for over 50 years. He was known to everyone by Joe. Joe was born on March 19, 1938 in Providence, Rhode Island to his loving parents Frank and Vera D’Ordine.  His younger brother, Frederick “Fred” D’Ordine, soon came along and became Joe’s favorite singing partner. Joe married his childhood friend and high school sweetheart Carol on June 6, 1959, a St. Anne’s Church in Rhode Island.  Joe and Carol welcomed their son, David in 1960.  They soon uprooted their life and moved across the country to Anaheim, California where they welcomed their daughter Lisa in 1965. Joe was a hard working family man and always worked hard to support his family and make time for them. In the late 80s, he started his own business EC Electronics.

Joe was filled with pride when he became Papa to his beloved grandchildren. Raul, Alicia, and Francesca. He supported them with attending sports events, piano recital, choir concerts, musical performances and much more. After his wife Carol passed in 202, Joe moved to Emerald Court. He made friends immediately and became very active there. Playing bingo, Poker, karaoke and what other activities were going on. Joe won 3rd place in this year’s Talent Show singing a Dean Martin classic.

Joe is survived by his son David D’Ordine and his wife Valerie and their daughter Alicia. Also his Daughter Lisa Lemus, and her husband Raul, and their 2 children Raul and Francesca.

Everyone will remember Joe by his hospitality, personality and famous Sunday dinners with family and karaoke for sure.
