Roma Lodge #1573

Roma Lodge members gave their final farewell to 60-year member Leroy Beecher who passed away in September after a lengthy illness. Leroy and wife Carolyn Beecher have been long time members and supporters of the lodge as well as Grand Lodge convention delegates, officers, United Lodge honorees and he served in many capacities for the organization. Leroy was Roma Lodge president in 1971-72 and served as a State Deputy for the Hanford Lodge for many years. He was an Eagle Scout, Cub Master, and Scout Leader for over 25-years and volunteered for many community groups and organizations in the Tulare community. He was an avid musician and played in the community operetta for many years, sang in his church choir, was a band booster and involved in a variety of other community activities. Farewell Brother Leroy. May you rest in peace.

Roma Lodge celebrated Columbus Day with a picnic and bocce tournament at Mooney’s Grove Park in Visalia. Over 80 members and guests participated with some great food and fellowship. The event featured a junior member dessert contest. The winners were Camden Taylor, Harper DePaoli, Adelyn Watkins, and Giulia Watkins

New Member
Newest member of Roma Lodge is Andi Clark initiated at the October meeting. She is with parents Anthony and Nicole Clark. Andi joins sister Ava James and brother Nolan as Roma Lodge members.
