Live your life without using the erasure.

Reminder: Our meetings are now back onto our regular schedule of the first Wednesday of the month at 6:00 PM at Luna’s on Pollasky Ave. in Clovis. No “warning” phone calls will be provided, so put these events on your calendar. Last month we were out with the regular diners, and we had a good showing.

Just because a cook is skinny, it does not mean they cannot cook; it means they are just starting.

Sadly, we mention the passing of our long-time member, Bette Veffredo.96 years at her demise. Not only was she a huge contributor to our twice-annual dinners, but she actively supported a vast array of charities, including DeMolay, Children’ s Hospitals (local and Sacramento), Order of the White Shrine, Order of the Eastern Star, and Daughters of the Nile. Her bubbly spirit will be missed at our future meetings.

In December, our Central Valley lodge will have their meeting in Clovis, at Denny’s, at Herndon Ave, near Walmart. Let Brian know if you will be attending.

A good education allows you to listen to almost anything without losing your temper or your self-confidence; to get your confidence, check this issue of Il Leone for Grand Lodge and National information regarding available scholarships.

Italian Slang: “come va la vita?”: how is your life?

If you are not supposed to snack at night, why is there a light in your refrigerator?
