Roma Lodge held its Junior Member Night at the August meeting. The lodge has about 65 junior members and over 25 attended the meeting. They conducted the opening and closing ceremonies and enjoyed

But it is so. After twenty years at the helm, as our beloved Lodge President, Joe LaPorta is retiring and turning the reins over to our current Vice President Frank Di Salvo, who will now serve as President.

But he isn’t going to disappear! He won’t be far away, and will be on hand to help Frank with the transition, and to keep his beloved Lodge functioning, at the level we have all enjoyed

Last month’s meeting was cancelled because of so many illnesses and accidents. Luna’s Pizzeria and Restaurant was very disappointed.

His is a restauranteur and businessman and spoke about his family and his restaurants in Nevada and California. His restaurant, Lanza’s, in Tahoe City is one of the most popular in the Tahoe area.
