Message From Your Third State Vice President

Congratulations go out to our Past Grand Lodge President, Lynn Lawrence Murphy for winning the Sellaro Award at the National Convention in Orlando.  This is a very high honor and she is well deserving.  From the first time I met her as a brand new President of my Lodge, she has always encouraged me to become a leader of our Order.  She has always supported me in becoming a State Trustee, and now as State 3rd Vice President.  She works very hard behind the scenes to organize Grand Lodge Meetings and Grand Lodge Conventions. Lynn, thank you for all you do for the Order.

As we are heading into the Fall months, the Officers of the South have been in touch with the Local Lodge Presidents.  Each officer has been assigned a Lodge to visit.  Grand Lodge Secretary, Lori Rossi is working on letters to each Lodge President so they may invite their assigned Grand Council Member to visit.  My goal is for each Lodge to receive a visit before the end of the calendar year.

Lodge Presidents, please participate in the monthly Zoom Meetings sponsored by the Vice Presidents.  This is an effort to keep all the Lodges informed on topics such as membership, taxes, community outreach, and many other topics.

I am actively recruiting State Deputies for each Southern Lodge.  Please see the advertisement in the Il Leone for more information.  We need your help!
