Message From the State President

 This month has been exceptionally difficult for me as your President. The First Gent has been undergoing treatments for his illness. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. We need them more than ever.

I want to thank my Vice Presidents, Pauline Richmond, and Louie Lodi for stepping up during this time. They have been strong for me and taken over some of my responsibilities.

Lori Rossi and Lynn Lawrence Murphy have been instrumental in keeping business as close to usual as possible during this interim time while we search for a new home.

All Financial Secretaries, please be sure to check and update the information in the Il Leone. That is the information used by our members to reach out to you. Be sure to check the meeting information and update to Debbie Ure @ debbie@sandgraphics.com. Debbie will correct and update all the information in the Il Leone.

A reminder, please continue to call the office at 415-586-1316 and leave a message or contact us at sonsofitalyca.com. If you are mailing anything to the Grand Lodge, please use our new PO Box address, Grand Lodge of CA OSDIA, PO Box 2467, Fairfield, CA 94533. The mail will be picked up and addressed often.

I did not attend the National Winter Plenary Session in February but our Grand Lodge had a lot of representation without me. Our National Historian, Lynn Lawrence Murphy, National Trustee, Arlene Nunziati, Sons of Italy Foundation Trustee, Maria Pignati, and, of course, our Past National President, Vera Girolami were all in attendance.
