MESSAGE FROM THE STATE FIRST VICE PRESIDENT

I was able to attend the Clovis meeting at the end of August.  Had a great meal at Luna Pizzeria and met a few members of the lodge.  Unfortunately after dinner I was outside with our Youth Committee Chair Brian Watson having a few goodbye words with him and his kids. Avery was running and tripped headfirst into a brick pillar outside the restaurant and wound up getting 3 stitches.  But she is a tough kid and still went to school the next day (her choice….lol). She has since gotten the stitches out and I hear is going as Harry Potter for Halloween to go with her new scar.

September 14th was Hanford Lodges 95th Anniversary. I left early in the morning to make the noon luncheon. They served an excellent buffet at Kings Country club. Twenty five, thirty five and 50 plus year members were recognized. State Trustee of the Central Tina Sparlin represented our State President who was unable to attend and did a great job.

We are 2 weeks away from our Grand Council meeting at Sea and I will have more on that next month.  Also Visalia is having there Anniversary in October and I should be there and have a report on that also next Month,
