Message From the 3rd Vice President

t’s been a busy time. For my first duty as a Vice President, I’ve assigned all my state deputies to their lodges, assigned the official visits of the trustees of the central district along with myself.

On July 16th, I attended Watsonvilles annual picnic, where they awarded their lodges local scholarships.

Great food, great company, a nice raffle, and the weather was delightful!

By now all the lodges and grand council officers have received the tickets sent to them, from the Western Foundation, for its October fundraising raffle. As per the letter enclosed with the tickets from Mark Rossi, CEO of the foundation, the proceeds from the $10 purchase will be for the Western foundation’s General Fund. This helps cover expenses related to the foundation’s operations.

Please make every effort to sell or purchase your tickets. Remember, there’s a winner every day. Winning tickets get put back into the mix for the next day drawing, that’s 31 chances per ticket, someone could actually win everyday, even with just one $10 purchase.

The council has been looking at properties for a new grand lodge home, and is doing its due diligence.
