Message From the 1st Vice President

Well it’s the start of another year I hope everyone had a great holiday and got everything they wished for. Grand council is getting ready for our March meeting at our new building. It would be great to see many of you there to see it. I was fortunate enough to be able to continue my parents tradition of cooking Christmas party for the Residents, there families and caregivers as well as the staff of StarHouse. My lodge also hosted our annual Toys for Tots and I saw many faces I had not seen in a while.

I know we have a few milestone lodge celebrations upcoming and I hope to visit as many lodges as I can this year.

And a quick thank you to Anna Galbo-Graeber is in order as I was remiss in not catching that the deadline for messages to the Il Leone had changed so that she could try to get the paper to everyone at the beginning of the month. Thank you for calling and letting me know.

We have a lot of very hardworking people in the Grand Lodge and I am thankful for all of you.
