Columbia Lodge #194

Columbia Lodge held their very enjoyable and successful bocce tournament on October 22, 2023 at the Peninsula Italian American Social Club in San Mateo.

There were 40 players in attendance. The First Place winners were Captain: John Nardi, Players: Nella Conti, Angie Fanucchi & Maureen Freschet. The Second Place winners were: Captain: Mike Tognotti, Players: Mirella Eiras, Judy Baldi & Darlene Fanucchi. The Third Place winners were Captain: Mario Patane, Players: Connie Clemente, MaryAnn Gnecco & Lisa Martinelli.

We also could not have had such a successful event without the hard work and support of Diana Garibaldi, Angie, Angelo & David Fanucchi, John Nardi, Silvana DaDalt, Phyllis & Michael Tognotti, Nella & Mario Conti, & Carol Huey. Our Lodge members played a great game, and about six members were in fact winners.

A big thank you goes to Pat Dianda and Ugo Pignati who made a delicious dessert for our lunch.

Our lodge is looking forward to enjoying their Thanksgiving & Toys for Tots Luncheon on November 28th and their Christmas Party Luncheon on December 14th.
