C Colombo Lodge #1315

The Festa Itala was held in the main square of Pittsburg, California. The event reflected Italian culture through music, food and dance. Seen above are some of the volunteers from C. C. Colombo participated in the Festa Itala held on a recent June weekend in Pittsburg, Californian. Heading the committee hosting the Welcome to the Sons & Daughters of Italy was Paulette Lagana. Seen above Paulette awarding the Saturday afternoon prize to Joe Cardinale who had driven in from Reno for the festival.

Roseanne DiMaggio Ortland, right, is seen working the gaily decorated C. Colombo Lodge booth at the Festa Italia. Lodge members took turns manning the booth, greeting festival goers with a “buongiorna” and an invitation to join the Sons and Daughters of Italy.
