A Message From the State President

Usually I would be starting out my article with I had the pleasure of attending this event, this anniversary, But no, this is a new dimension we are living in now following the rules set forth by our elected officials. I am hoping that all of our members are staying safe and well. This is has been a difficult time for all of us. By now you have heard that the Grand Council had a conference call last month, and with all of your lodges input, the decision to cancel the 2020 Convention in Concord was made. This was the right thing to do for the safety and wellbeing of our members. I would like to thank the C. Colombo lodge for the hard work in helping the Grand Lodge as host lodge for the Convention. Information will be going out to the delegates soon as to what will needs to be voted on.

This is a very hard time our country is facing; actually world is facing at this time. We are learning how to cook again, how to play board games, eating as a family at the dinner table, doing puzzles, (hopefully you have all the pieces). I hope we take what we have been doing these past weeks and do not forget them once we are free to roam around this country once again.

Again I ask you as family to check on our loved ones, especially those that are by themselves. A phone call can brighten their day! Please let us all continue to listen to our elected government officials. Please everyone stay safe and if you need anything reach out to your fellow members.

It has been quite an experience this last year being Grand Lodge President, I just want to say a big thank you to all of our members, Officers and our Office manager Alexis for continuing to run the office.

Happy Mother’s day to all the Mother’s out there, remember if it wasn’t for you we would not be there. We will beat this Together!!!
