Brothers and Sisters,
I would like to bring to everyone’s attention that we have four lodges in Northern California celebrating their 100th anniversary. They are the Weed Lodge #1269 on April 13th, Eureka Lodge #1274 on March 23rd, Camelia - Colombo Lodge #1294 in June and C. Colombo Lodge #1315 in August. This will be such a milestone for these lodges, so I hope you can set aside one or more of these dates and come join us in these historic accomplishments. You can check in your Il Leone
Again, I'd like to apologize for not having an article available for the November issue of the Il Leone. I was not able to get the article completed as the Sacramento Lodge Shrimp Feed was on October 21st and my article was due on the 20th. The Shrimp Feed was a success, and everybody enjoyed the shrimp and clam chowder, and many people went home with some great raffle prizes.
In October, my monthly travels started in Fairfield where Northern Solano Lodge #2534 had their second Annual Shrimp Feed
I am in the midst of getting ready for our lodge’s shrimp feed and working along with Arlene and Lori at our new building. Stay tuned I’ll have plenty to report next month. In the meantime, have a safe, healthy and Happy Thanksgiving.
Ciao for now

We played hard but the pollino wasn’t rolling very good for us. There were 32 teams that entered. The Tournament
On July 28th, I traveled up to Klamath Falls, Oregon to pay respects to our sister Louise Holst who passed away on July 8th and to visit Yolanda Rosterolla, one of our longest and oldest members at age 97. Louise was a long-time member of the Camelia-Colombo Lodge #1294 and held many offices. She was always there if people needed any help, and she was known as the best hairdresser in Klamath Falls owning the “Family Hairloom
I first would like to thank everyone who worked on the 86th Grand Lodge Convention Committee, Lynn Lawrence Murphy, Lori and Mark Rossi and all the members from the Reno Colombo Lodge. I may have left out somebody so I apologize if I did.
The Convention was packed with many activities from opening ceremony, where Maria Fazzio Pignati sang both our National Anthem and our Italian National Anthem to the swearing in of our New Grand Lodge President Arlene Nunziati. On Wednesday, we started out with the Bocce Tournament and then Thursday night
